The purpose- Why are you doing this action?
We are doing this because we think it is sad that children our age might not have a chance to grow up and live a good life. We thing that by helping kids with AIDS in South Africa, the amount of AIDS might decrease. By teaching them the ways to prevent AIDS and the HIV virus, the transmission could stop. We could teach them not to share needles and not to do drugs that could make you have the HIV virus, such as heroin. We could also tell them the importance of safe sex and to use protection and ask if the person has the disease. We are doing this not just to help the kids with AIDS but the hole world. Kids with the HIV virus or AIDS, almost all the time have parents who had AIDS and 600,000 kids in South Africa all ages are living in an orphanage due to AIDS. So when the parents die, they will have to go to an orphanage, or live on the street, then poverty will increase, so maybe our group wont help the hole world, but if somebody starts helping, then other people will get interested and help as well. Other big organization might help.
The message- Why should people be informed about this issue?
People should be informed about this issue because it is serious and even deadly. Also it can happen to anyone and they are a huge source to help this issue.The more people informed, the better, if more people are informed about how more than 100 people die because of AIDS related diseses, they might want to do something to stop this. 1,500 people in South Africa get AIDS every day, and 600 people die every day, not only children, but also adults. People could start donating money to charities and research ways they can help not only in South Africa but the hole Africa and even other countries around the world.
A goal- make sure this is a project that can be done and hopefully continue
Our goal to help kids with AIDS in South Africa, is to help a certain amount of people. If we help a certain amount of people such as 100, than these people could help and share the information we gave them to others, which will help other people, and so on. What we could do is a Certain amount of found raisers, such as a skating competition or a talent show, to raise money for AIDS treatment. Then explain them how to prevent AIDS and how to help the amount of AIDS to decrease and how to help people with AIDS so they will fill normal. To help them not to go to orphanages because their parents died of AIDS.

Is explaining to people in our school and other International schools around shanghai how to prevent AIDS and how they can donate money to expacific charities on our wiki, to help treatment about AIDS, and telling them how going to our fund raisers will help children with the HIV virus and developed AIDS.

A long term goal for our group can be to keep raising enough money go to South Africa and talk to a orphanage that involves with kids who have AIDS, and talk about living with AIDS, what you could do to prevent it, and how even though they have AIDS, that they are still people, like any of us, and bring money to AIDS health treatment for them. And continue our Talent shows as we go to high school, and our skate competitions.

The auditorium, chairs, people, microphones, stage helpers, whatever the acts need (we will work it out later), for our talent show, we will also need the teachers permission and permission to announce it on the microphone, for the talent show. And for the skating competition, rails fun boxes, skater/non skaters and permission and prizes

We will all MC and help the performers set up on stage. We might also need extra people to help out. We will all help spread the word. And facts and demostrations about HIV/AIDS in Africa.
